Gene Brewer: K-Pax: Omnibus Featuring Prot's Report
This is *fantastic*. A great book for all, and it doesn't matter if you've seen or not seen the movie. As with all books, it's more indepth than the movie, but the movie is still just as fantastic. A great read if you're into psychology, ecology, aliens, philosophy, all sorts. Just read it!!
Matt Ridley: Nature via Nurture
This is a brilliant book, on the endless debate of nature/nurture, genetics/environment. It throws out the original argument with proof that environment affects our DNA, which affects our personality. A definate must read!
Matt Ridley: Genome
The first Ridley book I read, this explores each of the major human chromosomes one by one, highlighting interesting DNA discoveries from each one.
Matt Ridley: The Red Queen
Another brilliant Ridley book, this one explores the idea of game theory and sex, giving intelligent insights into the complex theory of human sexual relations.
Robin Hobb: Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer)
The first book in the Farseer series. I love it! I love her style, and her genre of magic.
Robin Hobb: Royal Assassin (Farseer)
The second of the Fareer series, this is great!
Robin Hobb: Assassin's Quest (Farseer)
The last in the Farseer series, this is the book I'm currently reading. I don't want the trilogy to come to an end! At least I know there's more books to read later :)
Wilbur Smith: Blue Horizon
I won this book in a competition. Given that, I thought it would be a bit bland, but I really enjoyed it. I've read some egyptian stuff from Smith which I really like, so I think I'll read the rest. It's from the "Courteney" series.
